JIPCET operates double-blind peer review. Each manuscript that passes editorial screening is assessed by at least two independent reviewers.

Reviewers provide comments to the author and, separately, confidential comments to the editor. The handling editor is responsible for the decision and may seek an additional review where reviewers diverge substantially.

AI is used to assist with initial submission screening, metadata extraction, reference verification signals, overlap indicators, reviewer matching and workflow coordination.

All peer review is conducted under named human editorial supervision. AI does not make editorial decisions and is not used to generate peer reviews. Every review is read and approved, and every recommendation, revision request, acceptance and rejection is issued, by a named human editor on the record.

Authors must disclose any use of generative AI in the conduct of the research, the preparation of the manuscript or the generation of figures and data.

AI systems cannot be listed as authors. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy and integrity of all submitted content.

Authorship requires a substantial contribution to the work and agreement to be accountable for it. All listed authors must approve the submitted version.

Changes to the author list after submission require written confirmation from all authors.

Authors, reviewers and editors must declare any financial, institutional or personal interest that could be perceived to influence the work.

Editors recuse themselves from handling manuscripts authored by close collaborators or colleagues at their own institution.

Research involving human participants requires a statement of ethical approval and informed consent, naming the approving body.

Where data cannot be shared, authors should state the restriction and its basis.

Errors that affect interpretation are addressed by a published correction linked to the original article.

Retractions are issued where findings are unreliable or where a serious breach of publication ethics is established, with a public statement of reason.

All JIPCET articles are published open access. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal a licence to publish.

Articles are released under a Creative Commons Attribution licence, permitting reuse with attribution.
