Publication Process

All peer review is conducted under named human editorial supervision: a human editor reads every manuscript, oversees every review and approves every decision on the record. AI assists with screening, matching and coordination only.

    The manuscript receives an identifier and the corresponding author receives confirmation.

  2. 02

    AI-assisted screening

    System · Day 0–2

    Automated checks report scope match, completeness, methodology signal, reference resolution and potential text overlap. No decision is issued at this stage.

  3. 03

    Editorial assessment

    Handling editor · Day 2–10

    A named editor reads the manuscript and the screening output, then decides whether to proceed to review, request clarification, or decline.

  4. 04

    Double-blind peer review

    Two reviewers · Day 10–45

    AI proposes reviewer matches by area and availability; the editor selects the reviewers. Reviewers score originality, methodology, technical quality, significance and clarity.

  5. 05

    Editorial decision

    Handling editor · Day 45–55

    The editor reads both reviews, alongside an AI synthesis of points of agreement and divergence, and issues accept, minor revision, major revision or reject.

  6. 06

    Publication

    Editorial office · On acceptance

    The accepted manuscript is assigned an article ID and publication date, and published as an open access HTML article page with PDF.

Identifiers, Registration and Indexing

Updated regularly

We state our infrastructure status plainly, because a journal should never present identifiers or index listings it does not hold.

Digital Object Identifiers. JIPCET articles do not carry a DOI. We are not yet a member of a DOI registration agency, so we publish a JIPCET article reference (pattern JIPCET-YYYY-NNNN) together with a permanent article URL, and our citation exports use that URL. Earlier versions of this site displayed DOI-style strings that were never registered; those have been removed rather than left to fail resolution. When registration completes, DOIs will be deposited retroactively for the full archive and the strings will resolve through doi.org.

Serial registration. Registration with the ISSN Network is in process. Until an identifier is assigned, no serial number appears on any public page; registration status is shared with signed-in members.

Indexing. JIPCET is not currently indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, DOAJ or Crossref. Article pages expose Google Scholar / Highwire, Dublin Core, PRISM and schema.org metadata so that discovery services can read them, which is a prerequisite for indexing rather than evidence of it.

Publisher. JIPCET is published by the independent JIPCET Editorial Office. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or published under any university press.

Editorial independence. The Editor-in-Chief does not handle, review or decide on manuscripts he has authored or co-authored; such submissions are assigned to an independent editor of record, and the handling editor is recorded for every published article. Where an issue was assembled before an independent editor was in place, the journal does not publish work authored by the Editor-in-Chief.

Journal-produced articles. Some articles published during the journal's digitisation were produced in-house to establish formatting and metadata standards. They are written to the same structure as submitted research but should not be treated as independently replicated findings.
